We are MSU’s collegiate Model United Nations team, participating in conferences around the continent. IRO is a group dedicated to promoting understanding and recognition of international affairs through debate, discussion and a lot of fun.

March 24, 2008: IRO Nominations and Elections
     
Nominations for the 2008-09 IRO E-Board will be conducted at tonight's meeting. Elections will be held next week, on March 31.
March 22, 2008: IRO Turns 25!
     
IRO is celebrating its 25th season in 2008. Visit the "What is IRO?" page under the ABOUT tab to find out more about IRO's history, and stay tuned for more anniversary information!
March 17, 2008: Update on Elections: Postponed
     
IRO will not be doing election nominations at tonight's meeting. With the upcoming change in leadership for both MSUMUN and IRO, tonight's meeting will be dedicated to discussing what IRO members would like to see transpire between the organizations in the future. Information about the new date of elections will be emailed out to membership.
March 11, 2008: ChoMUN Awards and Election Info
     
MSU IRO did very well at ChoMUN XI in Chicago on March 6-9, 2008. Congratulations to everyone on a job well done! Four delegates won awards at the conference:

IRO elections for the 2008-09 E-Board will be held on March 24. Nominations will be done at the March 17 meeting. If you are interested in running for one of the five E-Board positions, take a look at IRO's constitution, located under the ABOUT tab, and
e-mail the E-Board if you have any questions.

The ChoMUN Placement Form is now available under QUICK LINKS. This must be submitted by 5p.m. on Wednesday, February 13.
